NW Family Recipes/Take Me as I Am

10:00 am to 11:00 am

Participants will have the opportunity to create their own cookbook of their favorite and family recipes to pass on to the children or grandchildren.

Participants will have the opportunity to create their own scrapbook about their life.  We will ask them to bring in pictures of themselves, and then they will write a story about something they remember doing at that age.  Their children and grandchildren will have this book as a keepsake.

Participants must preregister.  To register for this program a person must be over the age of 50 and a member of either the Lifelong Recreation Program or the OWLS Program.  If you would like to become a member of one of these programs there is a $12 yearly fee.  This fee can be paid with exact change at the community center, or at the Recreation Services Administrative Building.  You can register by phone or online, https://recreation.cityofflorence.com/ParksRec/Home. If you have more questions about this program or ones like it please contact April, Program Specialist, at (843)676-8070.
