DR. EDDIE FLOYD FLORENCE TENNIS CENTER

The Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center features 24 asphalt courts, 6 Har-Tru clay courts and a tennis activity center with outdoor decking. The activity center also includes a lounge area, student study area, restrooms, locker rooms, meeting and office space and a pro shop. The Tennis Center is located at 1300 Jennie O’Bryan Avenue. The location of the facility is ideally situated for easy access and participation by all members of the Florence community.

FLORENCE SOCCER COMPLEX

The City of Florence Soccer Complex opened up February of 2018. The complex consists of 10 championship soccer fields with 2 of those fields containing lights. The complex also includes two bathroom complexes, a 6,000 square foot Pavilion, and a two-mile walking trail.

FLORENCE SPORTS COMPLEX

The City of Florence Sports Complex opened with the Carolina Bank Baseball Stadium in Summer 2022 with the remainder of the complex opening in Spring 2023. The complex consists of the Carolina Bank Baseball Stadium, a high school baseball field, 5 Little League baseball fields, and a collegiate-level outdoor track facility. The complex is located next to the Dr. Eddie Floyd Tennis Center at 1300 Jennie O'Bryan Avenue.

FREEDOM FLORENCE RECREATION COMPLEX

The Freedom Florence Recreation Complex is a multi-use facility built in 1990. The complex is designed to host various state, regional, and national level tournaments; as well as provide championship caliber fields and facilities for the local softball and baseball leagues played both in the spring and fall seasons. The complex features nine lighted baseball/softball fields and seating for spectators. The complex has two press box control towers that include computerized scoreboards, public address capabilities, restrooms, an umpire’s locker room, as well as two full service concession stands. There is a coin-operated batting cage facility, a recreational/competitive gymnastics facility, and three lighted multi-purpose fields. The Freedom Florence Recreation Complex is located off of Pamplico Highway and Freedom Boulevard, at 1515 Freedom Boulevard.

MAPLE PARK BASEBALL FACILITY

The Maple Park Baseball Facility is 4 acres and is comprised of two baseball fields and is situated in one of Florence’s oldest and tradition-rich neighborhoods at 915 Gregg Avenue. There are two pressboxes, restrooms and concessions. There is also a playground and batting cages adjacent to the playing fields. Teams at Maple Park participate in the City of Florence Little League.

MCLEOD PARK BASEBALL FACILITY

McLeod Park is a 48.5 acre facility located at 920 Santiago Drive, Florence. There are five lighted baseball fields, two restroom facilities, three concessions stands and three press boxes located at this site. Teams at McLeod Park participate in the City of Florence Little League.

NORTHSIDE PARK BASEBALL FACILITY

The Northside Park baseball facility is located on 7 acres. It lies between Roughfork and Athens Streets and has 2 lighted baseball fields with restrooms, concession stand, press boxes, and playground area.  This facility is also one of rich history and tradition as it sits nestled in the northside community. Teams at Northside Park participate in the City of Florence Little League.

PEARL MOORE BASKETBALL CENTER

The Pearl Moore Basketball Center officially opened on April 12, 2018. The facility is approximately 31,525 sq. ft. and includes the Dick’s Sporting Goods Championship Court and an Auxiliary gym with two full-sized basketball floors. The facility also contains a referee locker room, concession stand, and two large meeting rooms that can be converted into smaller rooms. The Pearl Moore Basketball Facility is the home of the Florence Youth Basketball League, Florence Wildcats, and the Florence Recreation Volleyball Program.

TIMROD PARK

18 acres located at 400 Timrod Park Drive, has a playground with picnic tables, restroom facilities, amphitheater, fitness area, 14 lighted tennis courts, and a hitting wall for practice. There are also a picnic shelter with tables and outdoor grills and a gazebo with power and lights for special events. The picnic shelter and the gazebo are available for rental through the Parks & Recreation Administrative Offices.
