Maple Jr. Master Gardener

3:30 pm to 4:30 pm

This program is offered to youth ages 6-12.  The Junior Master Gardener program is an international youth gardening program of the University Cooperative Extension Network.  The Junior Master Gardener program engages children in novel, hands-on group and individual learning experiences that provide a loce of gardening, develop an appreciation for the environment, and cultivate the mind.

This program is held at the Maple Park Community Center each Thursday from 3:30PM-4:30PM.  All participants must pre-register.  Registration can be completed at https://recreation.cityofflorence.com/ParksRec/Home.  An annual $6 insurance fee is required to take part in any of the programs held within the City of Florence Community Centers.  If you have questions or would like more information about this program please contact Deangelo, Program Specialist at Maple Park, (843)665-3228.
