Today, on behalf of the Duke Energy Foundation, Mindy Taylor presented the Duke Energy HERO (Helping Emergency Response Organizations) Grant to the City of Florence Fire Department during the regular City Council Meeting. This generous grant will be used to enhance emergency response efforts by funding the purchase of a vehicle repeater system, which will improve communication capabilities and help protect our community.
