Severe Weather Closure Information For Tuesday, January 9, 2024

FLORENCE, SC – Due to inclement weather, City Center Offices will close at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Emergency personnel from Police, Fire, Public Works & Utilities will be available to respond as needed as long as weather conditions permit. The City encourages residents to stay home if at all possible and continue to monitor local weather forecasts that may impact our area.
The Sanitation Division plans to run garbage collection as scheduled as long as weather conditions allow. Should weather conditions deteriorate, collection may be postponed ensuring the safety of our workers. The city would like to provide residents and visitors with phone numbers to call for nonemergency events. For water or sewer service disruptions, downed trees, flooded or blocked streets please use 843-665-3236. For other public safety concerns, please use 843-665-3191. As always for emergencies, please call 911.
