Newly Elected City Council Members Scheduled to take Oath of Office
The City of Florence would like to announce the swearing-in of the following recently
elected City Council members:
C. William Schofield, District #1
Bryan A. Braddock, District #3
A ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 6:00pm in City Council Chambers at the City Center. Following Emergency Ordinance 2021-05 which extended procedures for public meetings for the City of Florence during the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony will be closed to the public; however, local media outlets will be permitted to attend (masks are required). The ceremony will be streamed for public viewing through YouTube for citizens to observe. The meeting can be accessed through the City’s website @ www.cityofflorence.com. From the home page, under the drop-down menu for “Government” click on “Web Broadcast”. There you will be able to access the live feed for
the ceremony.
