The 30th Annual City-County Christmas Tree Lighting Planned for December 8, 2023

FLORENCE, SC – The Annual City-County Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 5:30pm in the Andrew H. Griffin Plaza, located at 146 S. Dargan Street (next door to Wholly Smokin’ Restaurant). This marks the 30th year that the two organizations have come together for the time-honored tradition of lighting the City’s Christmas tree and bidding good tidings to the Florence community.
The public is invited to attend as we kick off the holiday season with the lighting of the tree followed by lots of Christmas fun downtown at the Downtown Christmas Magic event until 9:00pm. The Holiday Music & Light Show is also bringing the sights and sounds of the season and will run through December 31st from 5:30pm – 10:00pm each evening (weather permitting).
