Wastewater Management

The Florence Regional Wastewater Management Facility (WWMF) has been implemented as part of a comprehensive program to address the wastewater system capacity and treatment needs of the City of Florence and surrounding areas. Similar to it's approach to providing regional drinking water from the Pee Dee River Regional Water Treatment Facility commissioned in 2004, the City has addressed the City's current wastewater needs through the Florence Regional WWMF. The program address many of the wastewater challenges facing the City and the surrounding Pee Dee Region.
