COVID Child Care Financial Assistance for Working Parents
As part of their efforts to assist families during the COVID-19 pandemic, DSS is offering child care assistance for parents working, in school, in a training program, or have a verified disability The number of vouchers is limited based on funding availability, and parents must meet income and other requirements to qualify. Florence Darlington Tech CCAMPIS Program
CCAMPIS assists low -income FDTC students who are taking 6 or more credit hours with child care expenses so that they persist and graduate.

City of Florence Teen Hub
The City of Florence has partnered with the Pee Dee Regional Transportation Authority (PDRTA) to offer teens (ages 12 attending 7th grade to ages 18 attending 12th grade) free transportation from school to The Teen Hub. The Teen Hub offers a safe environment to go after school and activities include but are not limited to study time, college prep, community building, and job readiness.

City of Florence Teen Hiring Events
The City of Florence Teen Hiring Event if focused on providing youth adults ages 16-20 the opportunity to apply for part-time and full-time positions with over 10 companies on site. Employers conducted on-site interviews and the teens were able to leave with job-hunting resources.
