2023 Men's & Women's Tennis Championships Preview

FLORENCE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas is gearing up to host its 2023 Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center this upcoming weekend.

 
The 2023 Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Championship gets underway with No. 5 Barton taking on eighth-seeded North Greenville and sixth-seeded Emmanuel facing off against No. 7 Francis Marion at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 21.
 
Erskine captured the 2022-23 Conference Carolinas regular-season title and the top seed in the 2023 Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Championship. The title was the 12th league regular-season crown for the Erskine women’s tennis program.
 
Second-seeded Lees-McRae joined Erskine as a semifinalist in the 2023 Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Championship, while third-seeded Mount Olive and fourth-seeded Belmont Abbey advanced to the quarterfinals.
 
The 2023 Conference Carolinas Men’s Tennis Championship gets underway with No. 5 Emmanuel taking on eighth-seeded North Greenville and sixth-seeded Mount Olive facing off against No. 7 Converse at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 21.
 
Francis Marion collected the top seed in the 2023 Conference Carolinas Men’s Tennis Championship. The league regular-season title for Francis Marion was its first Conference Carolinas tennis title and its first overall in men’s tennis since 1999.
 
Second-seeded and defending champion Belmont Abbey joined first-time regular-season champion Francis Marion as a semifinalist in the 2023 Conference Carolinas Men’s Tennis Championship, while third-seeded Barton and fourth-seeded Mount Olive advanced to the quarterfinals.
