Seniors Programs

The City of Florence provides a variety of programs to senior citizens administered by the City of Florence Parks and Leisure Services Department.

Programs include but are not limited to:  Adult education, bingo, cards, ceramics, cooking and meals, crafts, day trips, fitness, health awareness, horseshoes, knitting, letter writing, movies, music, pekeno, shuffleboards, sewing, socializing and television (the soaps!).  For more information regarding program activities and scheduled events call 665-3253.

Location and telephone number of City of Florence community centers:
Levy Center, 665-3226, is located at 356 Jeffords Street just off East Palmetto Street.

Northwest Center, 665-3208, is located at 801 Clement Street at the corner of  Ingram and Clement Streets.

Both Centers are open for senior programming activities:
Monday through Friday  9:30 a.m.  – 5:30 p.m.
