Free Smoke Detectors

Residents who have a need may receive a free smoke detector from the Florence Fire Department. Fire Department officials will also perform a free home fire-safety inspection upon request. Aluminum Cans for Burn Children

The City of Florence Fire Department has placed Camp Can-do trailers at each Florence Fire Station: Station #1--144 E. Palmetto St. Station #2--250 E. Marion St. Station #3--1321 S. Edisto Dr. Station #4--2160 W. Palmetto St. Please drop off your aluminum cans at the station closest to your home or work.

Patrolling Fire Lanes

The Florence Fire Department is asking all citizens to refrain from parking in Fire Lanes throughout the City of Florence. Parking in Fire Lanes is illegal and will warrant a $50.00 ticket.
