Scrap Metal Collection Week - March 26-30, 2012

Is it too early to prepare for Spring cleaning?  The City of Florence wants to help!  We are holding the bi-annual residential scrap metal collection week for city residents during the week of March 26-30, 2012. 

Residents within the municipal limits are encouraged to take this opportunity to dispose of scrap metal including old appliances.  Refrigerator door and compressors should be removed prior to placing the item on the street.  Automobile scrap metal, building materials, electronics and tires are not included in this special collection.  Place scrap metal at the curb separate from other debris on your yardwaste collection day.
