Adobe PDF Files
The City of Florence website makes some documents available as
Adobe PDF files. This convenient format allows brochures,
applications, word processing files, etc. to be quickly formatted for
distribution and printing via the web.
In order to read a PDF file, you must have the freely distributed
Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. You may already have
it. If not, you may download it free of charge from the Adobe Systems
Website:

After downloading the software, you need to:
-
Exit your browser software
-
Locate the downloaded file and double-click on the icon to
install the Acrobat Reader software
-
Follow the installer directions to install the product
-
Reopen your browser software, and
-
Access the PDF file.
Once the software is installed once, you may view PDF files at any
site on the web.
To save a PDF file to your hard drive, once the file appears in
your browser window, select FILE / SAVE AS from the browser
menu. To print a PDF, click the printer icon or select FILE /
PRINT from your browser menu.
