A COMMUNITY OF CHARACTER
Florence has always been a city filled with people of character, just
like you. That's why the "Keep Florence Beautiful" campaign
needs YOU to help transform our city into one that is litter-free and more
pleasant for everyone who lives here or just passes through. By
practicing the following traits, YOU can make a difference in the future of
our community.
RESPONSIBILITY - Responsibility is always throwing your trash in a proper place and reminding others to to the same. This is the most important element of character when it comes to a litter-free community.
SELF-CONTROL - Self-Control is stopping yourself from littering. No matter where! No matter why! This trait can often be a difficult test of one's character.
INITIATIVE - Initiative is being litter-free simply because it is the right thing to do, without having to be asked or told. Only you can make the effort to do your part.
CREATIVITY - Creativity is inventing new ways to help Florence become a litter-free community. Florence needs your ideas on who to sweep the existing trash away and prevent it from ever coming back.
Practicing the traits listed above is an essential step in helping Florence become a litter-free community. The best way to show off your character is to set an example!
