Keep Florence Beautiful Events

Keep Florence Beautiful encourages your group to Adopt-A-Street in the City of Florence. To join this program, you must have a group of at least five people. Businesses, churches, community groups, civic organizations and individual citizens can participate. Your group must be willing to cleanup your street a minimum of three times per year and commit to a two-year term. One of the three cleanups will coincide with Keep Florence Beautiful’s Great American CleanupTM. As a thank-you for those who Adopt-A-Street, the City of Florence will provide a sign recognizing your group’s efforts to keep our city streets clean. Don't throw away your old telephone book...recycle it! If you live in the Florence City limits, deposit your old telephone book in your recycling container and place the container at the curb on your regular garbage/recycling day. Florence County residents can recycle telephone books at the Ebenezer County Convenience Center. For more information, please call 843-665-3113.
