DISTRIBUTION/COLLECTION OPERATOR


40 hrs/wk, M-F, some overtime and weekends

Closing date: 7/30/10, 3pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

H.S. diploma or GED; ability to pass State certification within 1 yr. of employment, valid SC driver's license, work outside in all types of weather conditions; work repairing and laying sewer lines; ability to perform manual tasks, heavy lifting, work in a team environment; and ability to use hand and power tools. Eligible candidate must successfully complete a skills assessment, background check, and interview.  Closing date 7/30/10, 3pm

Note: The City of Florence does not accept resumes.

-Submit an original 10-year driver's record.  Include a report from each state in which you held a driver's license during the last 10 years.  In South Carolina, driver's records are available at the SC Department of Motor Vehicles.  Other states have similar agencies.

SELECTION PROCESS

In order to be eligible for this position, you must successfully complete the following: 

-Thorough driver's record check and background investigation
-Formal Interview
