Fire Reports

The City of Florence Fire Department logs a report of all fires that occur in the City of Florence that includes who called in the fire, the stations and personnel that responded and when, the location and nature of the blaze, injuries or deaths sustained during the emergency, and even the probable or actual cause of the fire. Depending on the type of fire, you may need to contact several agencies or departments to obtain the information you desire. If this is the case, the City of Florence Fire Department will be able to direct you to the proper department or agency.

Please provide as much information as you can about the fire that you need the report for in order to help personnel identify the report. In some cases, you may need to state your reasons for requesting a fire report by first submitting a letter of request before the report will be released to you. Fire incident report copies are two dollars each. To request a fire report or for more information, stop by the department main offices, located at 144 East Palmetto Street, between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, or call them at 843-665-3231.
