V. PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing to receive comments on the budget for the City of Florence for fiscal
year beginning July 1, 2006, and ending June 30, 2007.
VI. ORDINANCES IN POSITION
a. Bill No. 2006-05 – Second Reading
An Ordinance authorizing the sale of two parcels totaling 2.106 acres, more or less, being shown on a map prepared for City Center, LLC by Hayes, Seay, Mattern & Mattern, Inc. dated March 1, 2004, and recorded in Book 84 at Page 289 in the Office of the Clerk of Court for Florence County and being the parcel designated as Tax Map 90168-02-004 in the records of the Florence County Tax Assessor.
b. Bill No. 2006-13 – Second Reading
An Ordinance to annex and zone property located in the Windsor Forest and Grove Park Subdivisions on Ascot Drive, W. Newcastle Road, Trotter Road, and W. Edgefield Road by amending the Zoning Atlas of the City of Florence.
c. Bill No. 2006-14 – Second Reading
An Ordinance to annex and zone property owned by Lethia Mae Pierce McKoy located at 1407 Buckingham Road by amending the Zoning Atlas of the City of Florence.

An Ordinance to annex and zone property owned by Claude W. Brown, Jr. located at 2423 David McLeod Boulevard by amending the Zoning Atlas
of the City of Florence.
b. Bill No. 2006-15 – First Reading
An Ordinance to rezone property owned by Maverick Developers located at
406 Park Avenue by amending the Zoning Atlas of the City of Florence.
c. Bill No. 2006-16 – First Reading
An Ordinance to annex and zone property owned by South Florence Developers, LLC located off of Broad Drive by amending the Zoning Atlas of the City of Florence.
d. Bill No. 2006-17 – First Reading
An Ordinance to rezone property owned by J. E. Haynes located at 318 Covington Street by amending the Zoning Atlas of the City of Florence.
e. Bill No. 2006-18 – First Reading
An Ordinance to rezone property owned by John Bruce and Clebe G. Eaddy located on Wilson Road and Oakland Avenue by amending the Zoning Atlas of the City of Florence.
f. Bill No. 2006-19 – First Reading
An Ordinance to amend the text of the Florence County Consolidated Zoning Ordinance.
g. Bill N. 2006-20 - First Reading
An Ordinance to amend the budget for the City of Florence, South Carolina,
for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2005 and ending June 30, 2006.

a. Councilman Robinson - A request for funding in the amount of $12,500 from Accommodations Tax Funds.
b. Councilman Bradham - A request for funding in the amount of $4,500 from Accommodations Tax Funds.
c. Councilman Robinson - A report from the Committee of Council regarding the establishment of an Oversight Committee for the City of Florence.
